OSC--Guanajuato 2010

It is hard to believe that in one week we will be getting off the plane in Houston on our way to Guanajuato.  At this point we will have been traveling for roughly 8 hours already with another 9 or so hours to go!

I have been chatting on Facebook with some of the other youth leaders who are taking teams down this summer.  One team just return home this past week and have posted some fun pictures and great stories.  Another team left this morning for the week.  We will actually pass that team in the airport as they leave around the time we arrive (assuming flights are on time).  It is neat to talk and pray with these guys for Mexico, our youth, ourselves, and God’s will to be done.  In particular I have been chatting with Matt, who is leading one of the teams this week.  A week ago they were short on their support several thousand dollars and Matt was not sure where the remaining support was going to come from.  We prayed and God provided!  They reached their goal yesterday morning…the day before they left for the trip!  If you want to keep up with their trip you can check out their blog here.

Prayer Requests:

• Please pray for the teams down in Mexico this week.  Their ministry will set the table for our trip next week!
• Pray for the remaining support to come in as we hit the home stretch.
• Pray for the excitement of our team as we get ready.
• Pray for all the final details to come together.
• Pray that God would be preparing the ministry for us down in Guanajuato.
