A view overlooking the city of Guanajuato. The city runs between two ridges and fills every square inch of the valley. One of the most interesting aspects of the city is the transportation—much of the travel through the city happens via underground tunnel. Beneath the city is a network of roads. Every so often there is a ramp that leads up to the main street level. The streets are narrow and often steep, twisting and turning with the topography. It is a beautiful city, especially from the ridges above. The multicolored backdrop created by the patchwork of houses creates a cacaphony of color the seems to explode from the city and grabs your eye. It is a sight to behold.
